Flaxmill Cove B&B gave us great value for our money with its beautiful home, fresh decor, and lovely linen. The location was perfect, offering a stunning view and easy access to nearby attractions. The staff, Bonnie and Malcolm, were extremely welcoming and made our stay feel like a home away from home.

Hotel breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of options.

We had a blast at the 18-hole golf course, just a 5-minute drive from the B&B. The course was surrounded by awesome trees and chirping birds, making it a nature-lover's dream. We also took a cruise around Mercury Bay and it was so cool! The beach nearby was perfect for swimming, walking, and just chillin'. The B&B itself had a beautiful setting and our hostess was rad. Can't wait to come back!

The only thing we could've asked for was more nightlife options for us young party animals. But hey, we made the most of it and had a blast anyway!

I keep returning to my favorite B&B. The helpful staff once gave me bug spray. It has Wi-Fi, free parking, outdoor dining, and laundry. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a dryer, and a kitchen. Adults only, no pets, no smoking. Can't wait to be back for Easter!

Delicious breakfast, especially the mouth-watering hot dishes! The room and bathroom were amazing with a super comfy bed. The garden was just jaw-droppingly beautiful and spacious. The bonus of borrowing shovels for Hot Water Beach was a game-changer. One night was not enough, definitely coming back on our next NZ adventure!

The guest suite had a small sitting room with all the necessary amenities and a huge bathroom with a double-ended bath and twin sinks. The french country style bedroom offered a great view of the side garden. The large decking provided a stunning view of Cooks Bay and beyond. The location was perfect for visiting Cooks Beach, Hahei Beach, and Hot Water Beach. The host, Bonnie, was helpful and recommended a nearby restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. it felt like a home away from home and we would highly recommend it.
